1. YOUTH DAY Festivals

The YOUTH DAY Festival, celebrating 18 successful years, is well known for its FREE Stages for aspiring Artists under 29 at YONGE-DUNDAS SQUARE, and attracting some 40,000 visitors applauding our talented Youth as they showcase their MUSIC, DANCE, ART, PHOTOGRAPHY, FASHION & FILM. The Festival breaks records with some 100 non-stop Act changes on its roster with 5 & 10 minute Stage appearances representing a myriad of genres from Rock to Opera, and on the separate Dance platform, Ballet to Hip-Hop. The festival is 100% Volunteer driven and enabled by Sponsors & Vendors for a unique YD happy vibe. The ever popular YD MARKET on the adjoining Yonge Street closure also features delicious Foods, creative Artisans, Corporate Champions, plus interesting Community Organizations & Charities, making for a full 12-hour FREE Family Day every July at Yonge & Dundas ~ with something for everyone at any age to enjoy!

2. YD FestCasts

Even during the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021, YOUTH DAY continued to provide a FREE platform for Artists by adapting its live festival to an online YD FestCast, with Youth putting their time at home to good use working on their passion. This medium also benefited them a new Global audience, to be watched from anywhere, anytime. To view their creative work, simply subscribe for FREE to the youthdayglobal YOUTUBE CHANNEL with 12 one-hour Reels for each year. Even the Prime Minister, Ontario Premier, Toronto Mayor, multiple Police Chiefs plus Dignitaries and Community Members all lent their time with words of encouragement. 3. YD THANK YOU^th Galas

In 2021, YOUTH DAY hosted its first YD THANK YOUth Gala benefit for the non-profit Volunteer initiative in the Banking Hall at ONE KING WEST, to show Artists our appreciation for their sacrifices during Toronto’s lockdowns, and congrats for continuing to work on their craft from home. Fans and families finally had the opportunity to see their talented Youth take the FREE Stage again in a beautiful historic setting, with an opportunity to finally wear those beautiful prom outfits! Both years, starting with the THANK YOUth Music Gala and the following year, complete with a Fashion show & Dance Floor, featured Live Entertainment by YD musicians, a delicious 3-course Dinner, and a Silent Auction for everlasting memories with professional photos at the YD Media Wall to treasure…

4. YD Concert Series

Most recently, YOUTH DAY added its new YD Concert Series where previous Artists from the Summer’s YD Festival roster host their own mini-Concert for Fans, friends, family & the general public. Relevant valuable prizes such as a Recording Contract and Agency Portfolio Photoshoot are also part of the draw. In memory of the late Gordon Lightfoot as a long time supporter, it only seemed appropriate to hold the event at MASSEY HALL. And what an inaugural night of musical talent with sets by Jules, Morpheus Richards, and Paige Warner.  YD also invited Youth & caregivers from numerous Community Charities it supports, plus YD Corporate Champions, Industry professionals & entertainment Media. YOUTH DAY, established in 2007 by Founder & Executive Producer Tylaine J.F.
